										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Rick has always gardened and foraged, and has had a long interest in edible plants, snails and bugs. He has gardened in climates and soils of many sorts, from the glacial soils of the northwoods to the Sonoran Desert and Coastal Ecuador. He&#8217;s lived longest and currently in the Pacific Northwest and has been team teaching permaculture since &#8217;87. (including the first PDC&#8217;s in Oregon, Belize, Alaska and Canada.) He currently resides on a 1/2 acre suburban farm in Eugene and is a partner in a design/build LLC, Earthkeeper Landscaping, working all around W. Oregon. He relaxes working with beavers in Nelson Cr. at his love&#8217;s Tadpole Manor, a micro agro tourism destination in the Oregon Coast Range.</p>

She is the Program Director for New Rising Sun (an educational retreat center, farm, and community developing in Ganges, Michigan), and is the creative inspiration of &#8216;Adapt&#8217; &#8211; A Permaculture Game, in collaboration with <a href="https://permacultureprinciples.com/">PermaculturePrinciples.com</a>.</p>
