This workshop will provide processes to assess urban soils and manage risk. Participants increase understanding of how to sample soils, map those samples and their sample results in order to prevent urban contaminant exposure and manage risk. The workshop concludes on urban soil safety in context of safe-growing and risk management in production, backyard, community and school farms and gardens, with continued emphasis on best practices.
