Bonnie Borucki is an artist, gardener and educator. She received her Permaculture Design Certificate at Merritt College, where she had an emphasis in landscape design, freehand and botanical drawing. She is a founding member of the non-profit, We Bee Gardeners and the garden coordinator at Ashby Community Garden in Berkeley. Bonnie’s work includes community murals, drafting garden designs by hand and by computer and illustrations for print and web.
She is passionate about connecting children and adults with the natural environment and stressing the importance of growing food locally, supporting pollinating insects and birds in our urban environment, and creative community engagement.
