Ojan is a second generation Iranian American born and raised in the Bay Area. Working as both a landscape designer and a finance director for a real estate cooperative, Ojan sees social and environmental justice as integrally linked and interdependent. Learning from his own process and grief, as well as the work of scholars such as Joanna Macy, Ojan holds space for folks to engage with the complex emotions that come up when confronting our impacts on the planet and on each other by facilitating ecological grief circles.
