The deadline to apply to the Equity and Inclusion Fund has now passed. You may still apply for a partial work trade, if you are not able to afford the Convergence ticket.
We are only accepting applications from youth and young adults (ages 25 and under) from underserved communities, who are unable to afford the Convergence registration fee. The extended deadline is September 9th.
We are still accepting donations to our Crowd Funding Campaign, to support the more than 50 scholarships we awarded through our Equity and Inclusion Fund. When you donate, you can receive exciting perks like permaculture design consultations, art, books and more! You may also contribute to the Fund when you purchase a Convergence ticket.
“Diversity is a core principle in creating living systems. That’s why I’m glad the Permaculture community is working hard to include more people of color and youth at the upcoming Building Resilient Communities Convergence. Cultural diversity will lead to a better conference which will produce a more resilient movement.”
