How to use permaculture to respond to disaster and learn social permaculture tools for networking for resilience.
This workshop will introduce how people around the world are using permaculture to respond to disasters, such as hurricanes, fires, and other unexpected catastrophes. It will explore the importance of social capital and knowing who are neighbors are, both for when disaster strikes and the good times in between. It will end with a fun “speed dating” where everyone will get to know the others in the room and build tighter bonds.
