Alegría is responsible for Intergovernmental Tribal matters, cannabis policy development & regulation, Housing and Community Development, and general Infrastructure matters, by serving and advising Sonoma County’s Board of Supervisors, Community Development Commission, and other County departments. She manages a team of 11 lawyers and supervises complex legal matters. She served as Spanish-language Public Information Officer during the Sonoma Complex Fires, and was awarded the Environmental Justice & Equity Award from Sonoma County Conservation Action for her community work during that time.
