Lesley Moore is a writer, educator, organizer, and artist with fund and organizational development expertise who seeks to apply permaculture principles to its own sustainability and adoption. She works with individuals, groups and organizations to design, structure and resource regenerative right thrivelihoods and use of the flow of philanthropy and other community resources. She is the former Development Director of the Watershed Project, and a member of the Transition Berkeley and the Gill Tract Farm. She has an MBA and Masters in Social Work from Columbia University, and a background in dance and theatre. She earned her PDC in 2014 from the San Francisco Urban Permaculture Institute and is based in the SF Bay Area. She completed the volunteer certified trainings in emergency preparedness – CERT – with the Berkeley and Oakland Fire Departments and is currently working on integrating emergency preparedness and community resilience efforts in Berkeley.
