Maria Owl Gutierrez will be speaking on the relevance of nature-based ritual, ceremony and rites of passage for creating resiliency and harmony in our modern culture. Through interactive processes participants will be invited to look at simple yet effective ways to integrate ritual and/or rites of passage into the work they already do or into their own lives and communities. Maria especially invites women and men who feel a deep inner-calling to hold ritual space for groups to attend. There will be opportunities to look at what stops you from stepping up into this much needed role, and begin to say yes to your calling. Maria will be facilitating a discussion on the nature of power, misuse of power in spiritual settings, and self-awareness as the foundation for sacred leadership.
