Megan O’Neil is the Community Choice Outreach Coordinator at the Local Clean Energy Alliance, where she has helped build a county-wide coalition of over 50 organizations supporting a Community Choice program that brings real benefits to our communities. Megan joined the Local Clean Energy Alliance with over seven years of experience focusing on energy efficiency, environmental issues, sustainable development, and finance, primarily in Asia. After several years in Mongolia and Nepal, Megan is happy to be back in her hometown of Oakland, contributing to climate change solutions rooted in local empowerment and social, environmental, and climate justice. Megan holds a B.A. from Kenyon College in Economics and Environmental Studies.
