Alexandra Maida has been studying and teaching permaculture since 2006 when she began the journey through the Education for Sustainable Living Program at UCSC. In 2009, she did their first official PDC in Belize at the Maya Mountain Research Farm. Alexandra has worked in the fields of Environmental Justice and Healing Arts, as well as cultivating skills as a teacher through Rudolf Steiner College since 2011. Alexandra recently completed her Counseling Certification from Interchange Counseling Institute in SF and have been living in a food forest with my daughter in Northern California over the last year. Alexandra is happy to offer her unique skills to community as a writer, teacher, counselor, and friend.
