Cyrus is a homesteader located in Northern California. He aims to minimize his impact on the planet by learning the skills necessary to provide for oneself outside of the context of industry and a monetary economic system. His work includes growing vegetables for his community, tending to a small goat her for dairy and meat, and developing strategies for wholistic resource management for various farmers and land-owners. He currently resides in the fifty-year floodplane of Little Lake Valley on top of 200 ft of solid blue clay.
