Nils Palsson serves as Communications Director for the national nonprofit Transition US. A peaceful revolutionary and two-time candidate for US Congress, Nils has worked since 2010 on building local resilience as a community organizer with Transition Lake County. He recently earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in writing from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Nils has also served as a science and history teacher, a community radio host, an elected Delegate for Bernie Sanders, a certified emergency First Responder, and the founder and facilitator of the annual Hands Around Clear Lake healing ceremony and tribal gathering. His passions include peace, justice, integrity and transformation, holistic health and yoga, mythology and shamanism, and co-creating systemic change that benefits the whole. Nils lives in Sonoma County with his daughter, Satya Rose.
