Christina Oatfield is the Policy Director at the Sustainable Economies Law Center where she works with a diverse array of stakeholders to propose and advocate for laws that enable more sustainable, local, and just economies. She played leadership roles in support of the California Homemade Food Act (AB 1616), a cottage food law for California, and the Neighborhood Food Act (AB 2561), among other legislation. Christina contributes to SELC’s publications and educational events related to food and financing and consults community groups around the nation on policy advocacy. She serves on the Steering Committee of Slow Money Northern California and on the Legislative Report Working Group of the California Food Policy Council.
