JT has lived in four different intentional communities for the past 11 years – Santa Barbara Student Housing Co-op (Biko, Manley), Berkeley Student Coop (Lothlorien), and Cooperative Roots (Fort Awesome). He is excited to start a new permaculture community in the Portland area in the next few years. His life philosophy is heavily influenced by Buddhism, anti-war activism, social justice, environmental justice, occupy wall street, occupy the farm and permaculture. He was born in Shanghai, China, moved to the US when we was fifteen. He had academic training in Physics, Neuroscience, and Computer Science. He’s also a songwriter/producer passionate about creating conscious and transformational music.
