Rachel Kaplan is a permacuture educator, somatic healer, political agitator, and mother. She works in the lineages of generative somatics, the Regenerative Design Institute, Contact Improv and radical street theatre.  She teaches “permaculture from the inside out” with a dynamic all-woman team of teachers committed to the evolution of permaculture people. In her private practice with individuals, families, couples and communities she supports the development of embodied ecological wisdom as a path toward wholeness. She  lives on a small homestead in Petaluma with her family, and is the author of Urban Homesteading: Heirloom Skills for Sustainable Living, and The Probable Site of the Garden of Eden.
